The Capital Regional District’s Policy and Procedure for engaging Consultants states:

1.1        For projects under $35,000, consultants will be selected from a Consultant List based on specific expertise for the assignment and hourly rates, and

1.2        For routine assignments in the $35,000 to $100,000 range, proposals may be by invitation from the consultants’ list.

1.3        For unusual assignments of $35,000 to $100,000, and any assignment over $100,000, proposals will be invited by advertising.

Consultants for the types of projects described in Points 1.1 and 1.2 are selected from a list compiled by the appropriate division of the Capital Regional District (CRD).  This list is created from responses to a bi-annual advertisement in Victoria newspapers and notice on the CRD website for consultants able to provide the required services.

Inclusion on the list does not guarantee work will be obtained from the CRD. All consultants are required to submit information to ensure inclusion in the review process. Past history with the Capital Regional District does not guarantee the consultant will be added to a current consultants list.

Consultants who wish to be included on CRD Regional Parks list for 2016 should complete the information forms, pages 7 to 10 of this document, and submit to Attn: Karen Ward, Coordinator of Administrative Services, 490 Atkins Avenue, Victoria, BC, V9B 2Z8.  Proposals will be accepted only at the Regional Parks offices at 490 Atkins Avenue, Victoria, BC, V9B 2Z8.
