The Executive Services department provides overall management of CRD departments and programs through the Chief Administrative Officer’s office and with the Executive Leadership Team and oversees all Board and Corporate reporting and implementation of Board direction. The department also supports the Board Chair.
The Corporate Services department supports coordinated and collaborative organizational governance and service delivery through the provision of a suite of professional advisory services. This includes legal, legislative, privacy, real estate, risk management, and government-to-government relationship building with First Nations.
The Finance & Technology Services department leads the development and implementation of systems, policies and practices that uphold and optimize organization-wide technology and financial sustainability.
The Infrastructure & Water Services department stewards the CRD’s water and wastewater assets through their lifecycle and provides the organization with professional expertise for asset management, maintenance standards and practices, project delivery and infrastructure operations.
The Parks, Recreation & Environmental Services department is responsible for the planning, policy and delivery functions for services that enhance the region’s sustainability and residents’ quality of life. This includes services related to climate action, environmental protection, solid waste management, recreation, and regional parks.
The Housing, Planning & Protective Services department is responsible for planning, policy and delivery functions for services that enhance livability in the region. This includes services related to transportation, affordable housing, health buildings, planning, and safety and emergency management.
