Park Use Confirmation
Attention: Recreation Centres and Community Groups
CRD Regional Parks can help make your group outing a success.
Many areas in regional parks cannot be reserved and issued a permit as they are intended for public use at all times.
However, if you notify us of your park outing in advance by submitting a park use confirmation form, we will advise you if another group has already submitted one for the same date and time. Depending on confirmed visitor numbers, we may ask you to select another date.
Advising us of your event helps us ensure appropriate numbers of people are visiting the park at one time and avoid confusion when more than one group has already submitted a park use confirmation for the same date and time.

Help us preserve our regional parks by teaching your group to use them responsibly:
- Be aware of the sensitive marine ecosystem and its creatures
- Keep the beaches clean
- Take home all of your supplies and help us by picking up litter. Large groups using regional parks are encouraged to bring their own garbage bags which can be left on site for Parks staff to dispose of.
- Please print off our poster about the care of regional parks. Put it in central locations in your organization for those who are planning field trips and other events in regional parks and trails.
