Current Activities
Regional Pedestrian & Cycling Master Plan
The CRD, its member municipalities and key stakeholder agencies are creating a Regional Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan (PCMP) to help direct planning and investment decisions which support the greater use of walking and cycling in every day life.
Alta Planning & Design have been contracted to develop the master plan, which was launched on June 16, 2009. The subsequent advocates planning session on September 21 was a great success where valuable public input was gathered. Read more 
)Cycling Skills for Youth
In our bid to “make cycling irresistible” and SAFE we have partnered with School District 61 and Victoria Bike To Work Society to develop and deliver a pilot-program this Fall at Arbutus School. The program, currently targeted at grade 7 students, combines theory and real on-the-road experience.
