Theatres
Royal & McPherson Theatres
The CRD owns the Royal and McPherson Theatres in downtown Victoria, which host a variety of professional, community and amateur events year-round. The operation of the theatres is contracted to the Royal & McPherson Theatre Society.
ArtSpring
The CRD provides funding towards the operation of ArtSpring, and owns the land the facilities are built on. ArtSpring is a 12,000 square foot structure which houses an exhibition/multi-purpose area and a 265-seat theatre. The centre is often rented by local professionals, amateurs, school groups, guilds and visual artists.

CRD Library Services
The CRD provides varying levels of funding and support for library services within the Capital Region.
Salt Spring Island

Southern Gulf Islands Library Services
Small public libraries are run by volunteers on Galiano, Mayne, Pender, Saturna and Piers Islands. The Southern Gulf Islands Library Service receives funding and support from the CRD.
Juan de Fuca Electoral Area
Library branches are available across the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area.

Museums
Sooke Regional Museum
The Sooke Regional Museum is administered by the Sooke Region Historical Society. The CRD provides financial support in the form of a contribution (grant) funded by a tax and appoints one commissioner to the society's board.
