The CRD’s priority is to clear sand and add de-icer to bridges and steep areas at high-use urban sections of the Galloping Goose, E&N Rail Trail & Lochside regional trails. Crews then clear the busiest regional parks parking areas and roads. Crews and equipment are deployed during weekday working hours to these different areas. Our goal is to meet as many of the differing needs of our park and trail users as possible.
Though all Regional Parks remain open to foot traffic, visitors are asked to use extra caution and be prepared for slippery surfaces.
