A corporation of the CRD, the Capital Regional Hospital District partners with Island Health and community stakeholder agencies to develop and improve healthcare facilities in the Region, including replacing buildings that have reached the end of their economic and functional life. The Mount View Heights CRD Community of Care development is another example of such partnering. Through capital and other community investments, the CRHD supports a healthy, vibrant and livable Regional for all citizens.
Island Health is responsible for the delivery of $1.9 billion in community, hospital and residential care to more than 750,000 people on Vancouver Island, the islands of the Salish Sea and Johnstone Strait, and in the mainland communities north of Powell River and south of Rivers Inlet.
Construction of the facility has been on going since Summer 2016. We will continue to add updated photographs as construction continues. Check back and follow along with the development of the Summit at Quadra Village project.
