Description

An outdoor art gallery was established in Commercial Alley to add vitality to the area while retaining the alley’s use by local businesses and showcasing a temporary art installation annually.

Artwork Statement

The Commercial Alley Art Gallery is a City of Victoria public art initiative that provides a place for artistic and creative expression by local emerging artists.

About Fern Long

Biography
Victoria-based contemporary artist and is a graduate from the Vancouver Island School of Art.
Resume
She is a member of the BOXCARSIX artist collective. Through painting, drawing and sculpture, she builds structures that explore the spaces we inhabit and move through physically and emotionally.
