Arts on the Southern Gulf Islands

The District of Sooke contributes to the CRD Arts & Culture Support Service. This service distributes grants to not-for-profit arts organizations in the region.

The Southern Gulf Islands inspire creativity and attract artists and artisans who make their homes and present their work to visitors and residents alike.

The Southern Gulf Islands do not have a public art policy. Each island community operates autonomously in keeping with its own unique culture. The Southern Gulf Islands Arts Council is a unifying organization that supports and enhances the arts throughout the islands.
