Panorama Recreation values collaboration and partnerships with our community and is committed to working together to enhance recreation programs and services on the Saanich Peninsula.
Each partnership is customizable and could include sponsoring a recreation program, event or activity, onsite displays, and advertising opportunities.
In addition to partnerships, we are proud of our many community programs and regional initiatives. At Panorama we strive to live out our commitment to community members we serve and the sports and community groups that we support, each and every day.
Community Programs
Greenglade Community Garden
Greenglade Community Centre is home to one of Saanich Peninsula’s most active community gardens. The Greenglade Community Garden offers any local resident a place to socialize, exercise, enjoy the fresh air, grow their own food, and be part of the growing activity at Greenglade Community Centre!
Located at 2151 Lannon Way, the garden plots come in a variety of sizes and a few gardens have been designed for people with disabilities or mobility challenges. Garden plots range from $20 - $60/year based on size of the plot.
If you are interested in adding your name to the waitlist, please contact reception at Greenglade Community Centre at 250.656.7055.
Art Exhibition Space
We recently created some exhibition space for sharing of local art by talented community artists. Engagement with artistic activities, either through hands-on creation or simply observation, can positively impact mood, emotions and psychological states, and even enhance critical thinking skills! We look forward to bringing the joy of art and creativity to our centres, and to providing the opportunity for local artists to share their talent and passion.
Interested in displaying your work? We have no fee for display and displays run on a rotating basis. Space at Panorama Recreation can accommodate paintings, drawings/sketches, photography or other hangable pieces. Space at Greenglade Community Centre can accommodate three-dimensional sculptural pieces.

Active Communities Learn to Skate
Active Communities Learn to Skate program was created as an initiative to standardize the recreational component of learning to skate, in much the same way the Red Cross Swimming Program does for Aquatics. This ensures high quality program content, materials, and instruction for arenas providing Learn to Skate in their communities.
To register your community, please print off the sign up sheet, fill it out and email it to the Learn to Skate Program Representative.
