Witty's Lagoon Regional Park (Metchosin)
Visit CRD Regional Parks naturalists at Witty's Lagoon Regional Park for a self-guided walk all about birding! Follow the panels to learn about what to look and listen for when identifying the birds in the area. Drop by anytime between 10am and 1pm.
Meeting place: Meet at the information kiosk at the main parking lot off Metchosin Road.
Trail Description: 1.2km trail down to beach. A steep wide gravel trail near the main parking lot, leading to a narrow trail with tree roots with steep and slight inclines along the way. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
