Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park (Saanich)
Join CRD Regional Parks naturalists and the Habitat Acquisition Trust on a walk to explore the wonderful world of bats. Hopefully we will see them in action as they swoop through the air feeding on flying insects.
Meeting place: Meet at the picnic shelter at the Filter Beds Parking Lot.
Trail Description: Approximately 1km walk with trail surface ranging from compact gravel to cement driveway to grassy field and compact soil with tree roots. Trails and field may be muddy after rain events. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
