Sep 16, 2023, 10am-11am

Saanich, Francis/King Regional Park

Event Information

Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)

The leaves are turning yellow, and the air feels crisp! Animals know it is time to prepare for winter. Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist as we play games, look at leaves, and explore how squirrels, bears and more are collecting food in the fall and preparing a winter spot to rest. There is no fee for this program but you must pre-register by September 12, as space is limited.

Trail Description800m loop with seven benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
