  • Park Re-Openings After Wildfire near Sooke Potholes (Old Man Lake Wildfire)

    The Capital Regional District (CRD) is re-opening official trails within the Sea to Sea Regional Park as well as a section of Sooke Potholes Regional Park and Galloping Goose Regional Trail after closures due to a wildfire in the area. The CRD anticipates some areas, particularly the northern parts of the Sea to Sea Regional Park, northern sections of the Galloping Goose Regional Trail and Kapoor Regional Park to remain closed for the foreseeable future.
